Low E Glass

Like Pilk K but so much better!

But what is Low E Glass?

Low E Glass is for used in double glazed units. The glass in the units absorbs heat then radiates it again on the colder, outside, surface.

Windows incorporating Low E glass allow heat from the sun through and keep heat inside, making it easier and more cost effective to keep buildings warm.

From April 2006 building regulations came into force which makes Low E Glass mandatory in most places.

It has been recognised for keeping energy bills down as it helps to keep rooms warmer yet it does not make the room uncomfortable in hot weather.

Low E Glass is available in 4mm & 6mm.

Low E Glass can be toughened to meet building regulations and a 6.4mm laminated form of Low E Glass is also available.
