Satin glass is similar to sand blasted glass but with a more consistent finish.

It is essentially a light diffuser, it give a lot of privacy yet lets 84% of the light through.  

Satin glass come in 4mm & 6mm.

It can be toughened and polished/drilled but not bevelled.

One disadvantage of Satin glass is that when it comes into contact with moisture it can become more transparent. 

However, this can become a nice effect for resin designs. The glass paint causes areas to become more transparent and gives a decorative effect.
